Scenes from the Big Data Congress

Last week I was given the opportunity to spend 3 days shooting a conference hosted by my employer. There were technical sessions, keynote speeches by industry luminaries and a day that saw over 900 high school kids bussed in from around the province – all on the subject of “Big Data” (a loosely defined term used to describe data sets so large and complex that they become awkward to work with using standard statistical software – link). Surprisingly interesting stuff.
